Goals instead of Dreams

There's a lot to talk about!

Something popped into my Facebook feed that said “If you are a coach, skool wants you.” I am a coach. I have decades of experience in more than “just” my sport.

I’d like to believe that I have given my players more than “just” basketball knowledge.

I’m frustrated with much of what I see today, on and off the court.

I feel bad for the young players and families being hurt by “the portal process”

I want to help players improve and help them find some way to continue playing beyond high school and also remind them that they must have a “Plan B”

I like to say “Been there, Done that, Got the T-Shirt!”

I have learned that

“There’s more to getting ahead than just being good”

My goal is to help you get to “your” next level, whatever that is… on and off the court!

“There’s more to basketball than just basketball”.

🤔 "Influencer?" .... No! ...."Thought Provoker"? .... I hope so!

A little "Old School" never hurt anyone!….

This Community is a “Call to Action!”

Hey folks, there’s a lot to unpack here. My name is Ray “Ritz” Ingram. It’s possible that way more half of the people in my life just call me Coach.

We’ll figure that out as we grow.

Over time, there will be lots of things going with people in the group.

There will be videos, written posts, polls, live chats / discussions, and even teaching sessions.

I hope the group will attract many of my former players, as well as new players, parents, coaches and teachers.

I plan on not just passing out information. I want to discuss where we are, and how we got here.

I’ll talk about how things you used to be and why I think that time has not necessarily made things better.

I’m not going to try and convert anyone to my way of thinking. On the contrary, I want to hear what you think and let you try and convince me that maybe I’m the one who needs to change. … “Good luck with that!”😈

👉🏽 There will be “live chat sessions” … a topic will be selected and the time will posted in advance. I hope you will join in.

‼️👉🏽 For some areas, there might be a “one time” subscription fee.‼️

👉🏽 There will be coaching seminars with many different topics on offense / defense / pre-season and off-season activities

👉🏽 Do you coach a team or club where most of your opponents are “Bigger-Faster-Stronger”? … Maybe my group for “The Princeton Offense” is for you. I have developed and used a version of Princeton that I promise will help programs “level the playing field” and have players compete and have fun while pulling off upsets.

👉🏽 Referees … There will be challenges for you also! Why aren’t you making calls even when you know that it would absolutely be the right call?

👉🏽 Young players and families hoping to get a scholarship but not having much success … I believe that I can help there also.

🤔 It’s going to take some time to set up the the various communities, but we’ll get there.

"Join us!" ... Who is us?🤔

Hopefully, "Us" is a group of former players, families, friends, colleagues, teammates and anyone else who is looking for information, conversation, reconnection with "back in the day", fun and being able to laugh at ourselves ... and at the same time ... looking at where we are, how we got here and wondering where we go from here.
