RitzBBall Teams
Grace Lutheran in Malverne, NY in 1973 was the first Team that was "officially" my team. It was also my first teaching job. It was one of those unique ... "Teacher has a class for all subjects!" 😮 ... I never studied so hard in my life. It was nevertheless fun!
Eight years later ... 1981 I coached my first "Championship" Team. The sons of Troopers stationed on the Border in the "Fulda Gap". I was hooked! I was also spoiled by that group. Probably because "discipline" was never an issue.... Not with the players or with the parents. It was an amazing experience.
