Our Troops are not Toys for "Wannabe Kings" to play with!

Trump - Hegseth - Graham think War is a game!

👉🏽 Because I believed that I should avoid imposing my political views on young people who might be playing for me, I seldom posted regarding political issues….

but, there is a time and a place for everything…

So, here goes…

The ongoing war with Iran was started and is being conducted by Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth.

They are also childishly and disgracefully bragging about it. They are making silly videos and using terms like:

👉🏽 Trump … Who avoided (dodged) military service has used ….

“Completely destroyed and/or OBLITERATED" .. Obliterated" and "Nothing Left"

👉🏽Hegseth … "Death and destruction from the sky all day" ..

"No stupid rules of engagement"

"No mercy" and "Playing for keeps" ..

"The only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they’re going to live"

👉🏽 Graham .. who prefaces his war mongering praise of Trump (who he in another life) called “unfit” for office) Furnace of fire and fear" .. he often begins by highlighting his 33 Years of service in the Air Force… but fails to mention that he was a JAG Officer 🤷🏽‍♂️ No offense meant to the JAG Corps 🙏 … all I want to say is the he is not “Combat Arms” and frankly since his specialty is military justice, he should be very concerned with his cohort Hegseth talking about “ignoring Rules of Engagement” … he has used…

"Blow the Hell Out of the Regime"…

“Unleash Holy Hell"…

I believe that the US Army is supposed to be a “Protective and Peacekeeping” Force.

Anyone who knows me, knows how I feel about my time in the military.

I am extremely proud to be a member of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.

Check the history books and you’ll understand.

They are “Peace Keepers”!

They fight hard and well, when they must, but they are here to keep the peace.. to deter aggressors.

Their mission is not to wantonly attack.

I am proud of my service and grateful for the opportunity to have served with some of the best soldiers in the Army.

The mission of patrolling (what was then) the East/West German Border taught me lessons.

We were there to prevent what happened with Russia and Ukraine.

We were “the forward deployed Force”.

The Blackhorse trained more and harder than most troops in USAEUR, and we were ready to do whatever was necessary to complete our mission… but … but …

That’s not what this Iran thing is.

The current politicians who started and continue to escalate this war .. and the blind followers who praise and support them are a threat to the United States. They are putting our country, its citizens and soldiers at risk.

I will simplify it, just to keep this short….

1) You can’t attack a country because you “think they are going to attack you” …

2) When you drop bombs on infrastructure and destroy things (like water processing plants) that are necessary for civilians to survive … When you do that, you are giving that enemy reason to do the same (remember 9/11)

3) Ignoring Rules of Engagement is more than putting US Armed Forces in Harm’s Way.

You justify our troops being mistreated on and off the battlefield.

In closing… I will always be proud of my military service and the men I served with.

I will always stand with our military …. but… not this!

The Beginning.....

Judge Hoffmann and St. Michael's

Philadelphia … 1961

Pardon my use of the 3rd Person but, I felt that it might sound biased if every second line started with „I“ 😈

He wasn’t a bad kid. He was just a kid… growing up fast… in a world that didn’t slow down for boys like him. The first time he stood beside a police car, he tried to look tough. The second time… he wasn’t so sure.

The Youth Study Center. They said it would straighten him out. They said it would teach him structure. But every visit felt colder. Every return felt heavier. And then came the courtroom. Common Pleas Court of Philadelphia.

One man. One gavel. One decision.

“One year… at St. Michael’s School for Boys.” One year. That became two and a half. Hoban Heights, Pennsylvania.

A hilltop building. Long hallways. Closed doors.

Something happened there. Something that tested him. Something that hardened him. Something that shaped him.

Did it break him? Or did it build him? What happened at St. Michael’s? What became of that young boy from Philadelphia? The answers are not what you expect.
